Stoneware, wheel thrown. 5.5 “W X 2 3/4” The handles do not heat up in the microwave. Ovenproof, starting from COLD oven. These are my “go to” bowls for chowder as I grew up near the sea and love clam chowder, my Mom’s recipe especially:) It is great for french onion soup and hot cereal, puddings, custards and flan. How about flan for two? They come in a whole array of colors.
